NPTI: National Power Training Institute

National Power Training Institute conducts 1 year full time PG Diploma course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering for those candidates who have passed B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/ Power Engineering.

For admission to PGD course, NPTI conducts a Common Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria CET:

For Non-Sponsored candidate:

Candidates must have B.E. passed or final year (No percentage restriction)
For Sponsored candidates: 60% in B.E.

Age Limit:

For Non-Sponsored candidate: maximum age 27 years.
For Sponsored candidates: No maximum age limit.

National Power Training Institute was established in the year 1968.

NPTI offers a quality, customer focused, satisfactory training courses with sustainable improvement plan driven training requirement for power sector personnel

After completion of B Tech in Mechanical Engineering applicants can apply for Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering course offered at National Power Training Institute .

Post Graduate Diploma Course (PGDC) in Thermal Power Plant Engineering - One year full time course

PGDC course starts in August and admission to this PG course is open for graduates of full time B. Tech /B.E. or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation

This course is for fresh and practicing Graduate Engineers for a period of one (1) year.

Admission is through common entrance test (CET) for which advertisement appears in leading national newspapers / Employment News in the month of March/April.
