The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Visakhapatnam has released an admission notification for admission in its Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Architecture (BArch), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master of Technology (M Tech) and Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm) Programmes offered at Bangalore, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam Campuses for the commencing session 2017 GITAM GAT 2017 Important Dates:- Last date for receipt of filled-in Applications - 31st March, 2017 Online Slot Booking - 9th to 13th April, 2017 Download of E-Hall-Tickets - 9th April, 2017 onwards GITAM GAT 2017 Date (Online) - 16th to 30th April, 2017 Announcement of Test Results - 5th May, 2017 GAT (UGTP) 2017 Eligibility:- B. Tech - A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination. B. Tech Biotechnology - A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination. B. Pharmacy - A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination with Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects. B. Arch - A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying Examination with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects and also shall qualify in NATA / JEE (Main). GITAM GAT(UGTP) 2017 Paper Pattern:- The duration of the test is 2 hours. The test consists of three sections and all questions are objective type (multiple choice questions). Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted from the score for each wrong answer. The unanswered questions will receive nil marks. Section A - Mathematics / Biology - 40 Qs - 160 marks Section B - Physics - 30 Qs - 120 marks Section C - Chemistry - 30 Qs - 120 marks Total - 100 Qs - 400 marks |
