The Rocks of Barakar arrangement having a place with Damuda Sub gathering are uncovered in this anticipate alongwith late soil/alluvium spread at spots.

The Khadia square emerges as a level over the fields on its south. The level is maintained by steep ledge confronting south, ascending from a rise of 290m at the base to 425m at the highest point of the level.. The territory on the highest point of the level is tenderly undulating, aside from one slope in the north-east corner having a height of 489m. The general height of the level changes from 420 to 400m.

Strategy For Work:

Khadia Opencast mine is having a general stripping proportion of 4.29 t/cum and strike length of around 4.5 Km. A consolidated arrangement of Mining sending Draglines and Shovel-Dumpers blend has been received as proposed in Project report. The mine has been partitioned into three area Western, Central and Eastern Section. There are three coal creases as expressed above and the top spread above Purewa top coal crease is around 77m, separating between Purewa Top and base coal crease is around 35 m and the separating between Purewa base and Turra coal crease is around 55m. In this way the aggregate overburden is around 167m.
