The North Orissa University (NOU) was Established in the year 1998 vide Government of Orissa Notification No.-32930/HE dated 13th July 1998.

The University is Recognized by the University Grants Commission under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC Act,1956 with effect from 15.02.2000 and 21.06.2006,respecively.

It is Recognized by Bar Council of India and DEC,IGNOU/UGC.

Admission Procedure :

Application form and the Information Brochure can be Downloaded from the University website and be submitted to the study centre of their choice with a requisite fee of Rs.400/-

Course Fee: Rs 12500/-per semester

Payment of Fees: The Centre Directors are required to deposit the application fee of Rs.400/-

Corpus Fund of Rs.250/-, 55% per cent of the course fee, examination fee of Rs.1000/- and the cost of the study materials (for MBA, MBA, PGDCA and MA in Education students as fixed by DDCE from time to time) in respect of each student admitted to the University.
