Non GATE Admission in NIT Jalandhar

Will you please tell what is the criterion for admission to MTECH course for Non GATE candidates at NIT Jalandhar?

Admission for MTECH course offered by NIT Jalandhar on the basis of GATE score if seat remain vacant and non GATE candidate not available then admission is given to Non GATE candidates .

Admission criteria for NON GATE candidates :

Candidate must have bachelor degree in appropriate stream

Non GATE candidates have to appear in entrance test of institute .

Selected candidates are required to bring documents at the time of admission as :

Photographs (2 passport size and one stamp size)

Gate Score Card (if have )

Age Proof (10th Certificate)

Mark sheet of Class +2 (for subjects)

Consolidate Grade mark sheet of qualifying examination

Degree/Provisional Certificate if degree is completed

Category Certificate

Certificate for persons with disability (PWD)

Character Certificate

Original Medical Fitness Certificate

Gap Certificate (if applicable)

B.Tech/B.E degree Certificate (CGPA 6.5 or 60% for Gen. Cat and CGPA 6.0or 55% for SC Cat)

Family Income Certificate
