Joint Entrance Examination Main, formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is an examination organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education in India

As per CBSE's official data, as many as 1043739 candidates have registered for JEE Main 2018 offline paper held on April 8, out of which 646814 were boys, 266745 girls and 3 transgenders.


Eligibility Criteria :
Only those candidates, who have passed their class 12th exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the preceding year of the admission and a year before the preceding year or those who are appearing in their class 12th exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in the same admission year of JEE Main are eligible to appear in the engineering entrance test.
