I am going to take admission in the NITRR (National Institute of Technology Raipur) for pursuing my higher degree and want to know about the hostel facilities available at the NITRR. Provide me the hostel admission procedure and fee structure of the NITRR?

National Institute of Technology, Raipur, formerly Government Engineering College Raipur, is a technical institution funded by the Government of India located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India

The Hostel Allotment Rules of the National Institute of Raipur is given below

The Rules for Hostel admission and Room allotment for Girl Hostels in NIT,
Raipur are as follows

1. In B. Tech. I semester admission will be given on First come first serve
basis (during the scheduled reporting dates only).

2. Admission to the B. Tech. I semester Girls student will be given on the
basis of distance (A girl reporting first from nearby cities will be given
last preference, subject to availability of rooms).

3. From II yr. Onwards admission will be given on the basis of merit;
considering distance also. In case of these admissions also, the girl
students from nearby cities will be given last preference, irrespective of
their merit.

4. Once a girl student is admitted in the hostel; the room allotment will be
done on ‘First come first serve; basis.
