National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal invites applications for admission to Full-Time Master of Science (M.Sc) Programs.

NIT M.Sc Admission 2016

M.Sc Programmes:

M.Sc (CY) – M.Sc in Chemistry
M.Sc (PH) – M.Sc in Physics

Eligibility Criteria-

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry /Physics with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system, or not less than 60 percent marks in the aggregate

However, this prescribed minimum shall be a CGPA of 6.0 or 55 percent marks in the aggregate for SC/ST/PwD applicants.

Applicant appearing for the qualifying exam may also apply.

Selection Procedure -

Selection will be based upon the academic performance in the qualifying degree programme, written aptitude test conducted by the respective departments.

Intake -

M.Sc (Chemistry) Program (OC – 13, OBC – 07, SC – 04, ST – 02, Spon – 01, Total – 27)

M.Sc (Physics) Program (OC – 13, OBC – 07, SC – 04, ST – 02, Spon – 01, Total – 27)

Default associted degree of science

gud afternoon sir,
i have complete a associated degree in science at december 2011, so how can possible to complete my diploma/degree in science.... please suggest me.
