NITIE Admission Through Gate
I have cleared GATE exam and want to get admission in the Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) course in the National Institute in Industrial Engineering (NITIE) so please tell me can I get admission in this course through GATE exam?

NITIE offer admission for the following Programs through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) - Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE), Post Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management (PGDMM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (PGDPM). NITIE Admission 2019 Online Application Begins February 6, 2019 Last date for Application April 1, 2019 Group Discussion/ Personal Interview April 22, 23 and 24, 2019 Course Commencement June 2019 Eligibility Criteria for NITIE Admission through GATE One should have valid GATE scores One should have obtained 60% aggregate marks (relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST/PwD) in a full-time Engineering/Technology (B.E./B. Tech) degree in any branch from a recognized university. Final year students can also apply, provided they qualify the above criteria. Programme wise Eligibility for NITIE admission through GATE PGDIE: One who has studied any branch in Engineering/ Technology can apply. PGDMM: One must have passed the following engineering disciplines to be eligible to apply – mechanical, production, automobile, chemical, textile, electrical, electronics and other relevant branches such as industrial engineering, instrumentation and industrial electronics. PGDPM: One with the following engineering disciplines can apply – mechanical, production, automobile, chemical, civil, textile, electrical, electronics and other relevant branches such as industrial engineering, instrumentation and industrial electronics. International Students A supernumerary quota of 15% is reserved for international students in the PG programmes mentioned above. It is mandatory that the academic qualifications of such candidates should be at par with that of Indian students Such candidates should have a valid GRE score as well as a valid TOEFL / IELTS score also (scores more than two years are not accepted) All international candidates must submit a “Statement of purpose (SOP)” along with two Letters of recommendations (LORs). |
