According to India Today NIT Warangal was ranked #15 ranks for in 2012, Best Engineering colleges 2012.

According to, Outlook India the NIT W get the [15] #16 ranked for Top Engineering Colleges of 2012.

According to Dataquest the NIT W get ranked [16] and #15 for India's Top Engineering Colleges in 2011

Hey as National Institute of Technology, Warangal is a federally funded technical institute in India. It is located on either side of Hyderabad - Warangal highway at a distance of 3 km from Kazipet Railway Station and 14 km from Warangal Railway Station
