I am selected for admission in B.Tech CSE Course at NIT Surathkal (National Institute of Technology Surathkal) and want to book room in Hostel so please tell me about Hostel Facilities at NIT Surathkal? Also give me fee structure of NIT Surathkal Hostel?

Can you tell me about the Hostel facility offered by NIT (National Institute of Technology) Karnataka, Surathkal for its students as I want to check it before admitting my son in it?

The NIT (National Institute of Technology) Karnataka, Surathkal is a completely residential campus with hostel facility for over 5000 students including separate blocks for girls. Hostel blocks have reading rooms and separate dining halls which serve different cuisine.

All rooms in hostels have been provided with high speed broadband and Wi-Fi internet connectivity. The accommodation is single-seated and 2/3 seated shared type. A separate hostel for the Post Graduate students is available.

To suit the tastes of the students from different regions, independent messes of various types are run in different hostels. Moreover two night canteens are running in boys and in girls premises. There are 5 cafeterias in different corner of the campus to caters the hunger with delicious and hygienic food items.
