NIT Raipur Biomedical Engineering Placements

I am student of Biomedical and interested in the Biomedical Engineering and planned to do Biomedical Engineering from the NIT Raipur but before joining I want to know about the placements provided to the Biomedical Engineering student. Can you please tell me the placements statistics and the lists of recruiters visited in this University?

The Placement Policy accepted by National Institute of Technology, Raipur is as follows:

The objective of the Placement Cell is to provide one job for each student.
Campus recruitment is meant only for the Students of Final year (and the pass out students if they are eligible).
The Placement Process would commence generally from the first week of July.
Companies confirming for recruitment at the campus will be categorized into Category A, Category B and Category C. This categorization and the slot assignment for recruitment is done by the Placement Cell on the basis of various details provided by the company through the Job Response Form (such as Package details, job profile, number of branches, number of students, past association with NIT Raipur etc).
A student can procure only one job in each category and is barred to apply further in the category implied.
A student procuring job in a Category C company is entitled only for applying in Category B and Category A, student procuring Job in Category B company can only apply for Category A company and Student Procuring Job in Category A company cannot apply for any other Category.
If a student gets offer from more than one company (different categories), then one must inform the companies about the job offer one wishes to accept, through the Placement Cell before completing ones graduation.
Final year students are strictly forbidden to attend Off-campus recruitment programmes.
If a student does not get a Job, one may apply for off campus recruitment after notifying the Placement Cell.
The policy is subject to change at a later stage at the discretion of the placement cell. The changes made, if any, at a later stage will be notified to all concerned.
