The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar is given an Applications are invited from Indian candidates for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a DST-SERB funded sponsored research project on Preparation and electro-optic studies of polymer stabilized blue phase liquid crystals for display applications.

Qualifications:
Candidates must be first class (60% or equivalent grade) M.Sc in Physics with valid NET/GATE.
Or
M. Tech in Material Science/Nanotechnology
Fellowship Rs. 25, 000/+HRA as per NITJ rules (DST ref. no. SB/S9/Z-01/2015, DT: 07-1-15)

Age limit:
28 years

Job Responsibilities:
To assist and perform the project related work assigned by PI.

Tenure & other conditions:
The JRF position is Co-terminus with the project. The appointee has to follow the SERB/ DST terms and conditions.
