NIT Calicut PHD Regulations
I get a old file related to Ordinances and Regulations for PHD Programme of NIT Calicut online . Is the information given in this file is valid for the newly admitted student for PHD Programme at NIT Calicut . If any change in Regulations please provide me that file?

National Institute of Technology Calicut is a Public institute. The NIT was established in 1961, located in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. It offers and awards undergraduate B.Tech in various engineering fields as a 4 year programme in department of Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering. The PhD programmes are available in all engineering and science disciplines and management. NIT Calicut PHD Regulations: Educational Qualifications Candidates must have Post Graduate Degree in the appropriate branch of study/specilisation with minimum 60% marks {(CGPA 6.5/10) or equivalent}. For SC/ST candidates, minimum 55% marks (CGPA 6.0/10) or equivalent in the relevant areas/disciplines. In addition to this, Candidates of Masters degree in Science/Life sciences/ Humanities/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science &Applications/ Management etc should have a valid GATE score or UGC/NET/CSIR/NBHM/JEST/KSCSTE fellowships in relevant areas/disciplines.
