The National Institute of Technology Durgapur Alumni Association (NITDAA) was established in 2002 to act as a forum of human interaction for the Alumni of National Institute of Technology, Durgapur and their dependent Children.

Regional Chapters
All metros, cities, and towns in India & abroad form NITDAA Chapters with ex-students residing in that metro/city/town or near by.

Regional Chapters have their own committee, and function to enhance the aims & objectives of NITDAA.

They have build up their data bank of members, up date it periodically, and keep the main data bank maintained at NITDAA, Durgapur office updated.

They elevate and run and audit their own funds.

They accumulate and contribute funds towards Projects undertake by the Apex Committee.

They name themselves NITDAA – Mumbai Chapter/ New York Chapter/ Jamshedpur Chapter etc. and must get themselves affiliated to the main NITDAA body.

They keep the Apex Committee informed about their activities, committee meetings, etc.

They maintain very good communication with the Apex committee.
