The Institute Of Management, Nirma University invites application form for admission in Ph.D (Full Time) program.

Ph.D (Full Time) Admission

Eligibility:

Masters degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Masters Degree by the corresponding Statutory Regulatory body with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade “B” in the UGC 7 Point Scale.

Candidates appearing in final examination can also apply

Selection Process:

The admission selection process consists of two stages :

Entrance Test:

The applicants are required to appear in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University.

However the candidates who are UGC NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/GATE/GPAT/Teacher Fellowship/M.Phil qualified are exempted from the Admission Test.

The Entrance Test will have Two Sections as given below:

Research Methodology - 50% Wieghtage
General Management - 50% Weightage

Each Section will carry 30 Questions, and duration of the Test will be one hour.

The Test will be objective type with multiple choice questions.

Personal Interview:

The candidates obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the Entrance Test will qualify for the Personal Interview.

The Interview will be held on the same day after the Test.

The final selection for admission would be based on the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview.

The application forms can be downloaded from the website and the completed form should be sent to the Institute alongwith demand draft of Rs.1000/- favouring "Institute of Management, Nirma University" payable at Ahmedabad.
