Can you tell the details of the MBA (Master of Business Administration) course admission process in NIIT University as my cousin wants to take admission in it?

The selection process in MBA (Master of Business Administration) course in NIIT University consists of an Application Form (with Statement of Purpose), an Aptitude Test, a Communication Proficiency Test, a Presentation and a Personal Interview.

Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) are eligible to apply for admission in MBA course.

Those in the final year of graduation are also allowed to apply and participate in the selection process.

One is required to apply using the NU MBA Application Form, either the Online Form, or the downloadable hard-copy.

One is required to appear for the NIIT University Management Aptitude Test (NUMAT).

One who posses a valid score-sheet from CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT or GMAT score, are exempted from appearing for the NUMAT.

The NUMAT is an online assessment of 90 minutes duration.

The University follows a rolling admission policy, with multiple Admissions cycles if seats remain available.

Admission result is normally announced within 48 hours of completion of the Selection Process

Fees
The Annual Fees for the NU MBA program are Rs 5,24,300/- and Rs 5,28, 800/- in Years 1 and 2 respectively.

Steps in the Admissions Process

One submits Application Form with supporting photocopies

Admissions Office sends an email verify receipt of the Application Form, within 2 days of submission

If Application Form complete and applicant meet eligibility criteria – One receives an email specifying date, time and venue of Selection Process, within 2 days

Xerox of the following documents need to be submitted together with the Application Form:

Proof of Age – Birth Certificate

Class X (or equivalent) Certificate

Class X (or equivalent) Mark-sheet

Class XII (or equivalent) Certificate

Class XII (or equivalent) Mark-sheet

Graduation (Degree) Certificate

Graduation Mark-sheet(s)

Proof of Identity – Driving License, Passport or other specified in Application Form
5 Passport-sized photographs

Aptitude Test Score-sheet (if not appearing for NIIT University Management Aptitude Test)

Certificate from last employer (for those with work experience)

Application Processing Fee payment – Cheque or Demand Draft or Netbanking details

Eligibility


Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in class X/ XII/ graduation (or equivalent of 5.0 CGPA) board examination

Applicants in final year of graduation can also apply subject to securing minimum 50% marks in their graduation


Admission Procedure

Admissions are based on score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ NUMAT followed by:
