NID Entrance Test Syllabus

Hello!!! I am appearing for the entrance test for National Institute of Designing for B.Des so kindly tell me the syllabus of the entrance test which will help me in my preparation???

National Institute of Designing is also called NID which is a designing institute.

The courses offered by NID are.

1. Bachelor of Designing (B.Des)

2. Masters of Designing (M.Des)

As you are asking for the syllabus of entrance for NID so the syllabus is below.


a. NID DAT 2015 comprises of three papers, each of 60 marks. The exam tests the students’ capabilities in creativity and various domains that include Visual Design, Subjects of Design, Thematic Color Arrangement, Environment Sensitivity, Memory Drawing, Proportions & Perspective, General Mental Ability, Drawing Skills, Animation and Abstract Symbolism.

b. Or anything can be asked related to Communication skills, Composition, Creativity, Drawing Skills, General Mentality Ability and etc.
