National Informatics Centre Services Inc. (NICSI) was set up in 1995 as a section 25 Company under National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, and Government of India to provide total IT solutions to the Government organizations.

Objectives

To provide the economic, scientific, technological social and cultural development of India by promoting the utilization of Information Technology

To promote further development of services, technologies, infrastructure and expertise supplementing that developed by NIC, in directions which will increase the revenue earning capacity of NIC.

To develop and promote value added computer and computer-communications services over the basic infrastructure and services developed by NIC including NICNET.
