Uttrakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) had invited to online Application Form for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment 2019.


Important Dates
Starting Date to Apply Online: 15 July 2019
Closing Date to Apply Online: 25 August 2019
Submission of Application Fee Date: 27 July 2019
Date of Exam: December 2019


Eligibility Details
Candidates 3 Years Diploma Civil engineering From Any Recognized University.


Age Limit as on 01/07/2019
Min. Age : 21 Yrs.
Max. Age : 42 Yrs.

Pay Scale
The UKSSSC JE Salary that is given is ₹44900 - 142400 per month (Level-7).


Selection Procedure:
The selection shall be made strictly as per merit in the written examinations. Category wise merit list will be formed for all the categories. Thus the final selection process will consist of only one stage i.e. Written Examination (MCQ Type)

1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 1/4 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.


Minimum Required Percentage:
The minimum marks required for the OBC and General candidates to qualify are 45 % while for SC/ST candidates it is 35%.


Distribution of Marks:

The Time Duration Examination will be two hours and exam paper will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks.
The exam will consist of technical questions which related to the Civil Engineering subjects.
Each question will be of 1 mark.
All the questions will be technical.

The Exam Course for the Written Examination is given below:-

Section 1
General Hindi Which Consists Of Questions & Answer from the Passage, Title of the Passage, Letter Writing, Word Knowledge, Use of Words, Antonym, Synonym, One Word Substitutions, Sentence Correction & Idioms Phrases. Etc.

Section 2
General Knowledge Which Consists Of Current Events, History, Indian Polity And Governance- Constitution And Political System, History Of India And Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social And Economic Geography Of India And World, Etc.

Section 3
General Awareness Which Consists Of Current Events Of National And International Importance, Games And Sports, Art And Culture Of India, Indian Literature, Monuments And Places Of India, General Science, And Life Science (Up To 10th CBSE), History Of India And Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social And Economic Geography Of India And World, Indian Polity And Governance- Constitution And Political System, General Scientific And Technological Developments Including Space And Nuclear Program Of India, UN And Other Important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India And World At Large, Basics Of Computers And Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems In India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities Of India And World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora And Fauna Of India, Important Government And Public Sector Organizations Of India Etc.

Section 4
Post related Technical Subjects which consists of Civil Engineering Subjects such as:-
Concrete Technology, Estimation, and Coating, Engineering Drawings, Engineering Materials, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Analysis, the Design of R.C.C. Structure, Steel Structure, Masonry Structure, Irrigation Engineering, Transportation Engineering, the Strength of Materials, Construction Equipment, Planning, and Management.
