| Neelu Bhasin | Re: UP Judicial Services - Eligibility Application Form Fee Selection Pattern Preliminary Main Syllabus The Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service Examination, popularly known as the Civil Judge Junior Division exam or PSC J is conducted by the Allahabad High Court. Its notification is published on the High Courts official website or the website of the U.P. Public Service Commission. Eligibility An Indian Citizen is eligible to apply. One must be a Bachelor of Laws of a University established by Law in U.P. or any other University of India recognised by the Governor, or One must be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is entitled to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto; One must possess thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script One must have attained the age of 22 years and must not have attained the age of more than 35 Years. Application Form The Application form is to be filled on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. Application Fee Category Application Fee General / OBC Rs. 100/- + Transaction Charges SC /ST Rs. 40/- + Transaction Charges PH NIL Selection Procedure The selection is purely based on the three stages of the exam - Preliminary, Main and Interview for recruitment. The selection of the candidates is based on the marks obtained in the main exam and interview. Prelim is qualifying in nature. One has to obtain the minimum qualifying marks to appear in the further recruitment process.
