Centre for Nanotechnology was built up in December 2005 as one of the Centers of Excellence. The employees related with the middle are included in creating best in class offices at the establishment and enthusiastically seeking after interdisciplinary research on different ebb and flow parts of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

An extensive variety of complex gear identified with nanotechnology has been made operational at IIC and additionally at focus including the multidisciplinary staff of the middle. In perspective of the real effect of "Nanoscience" in unfathomable controls of Science and Technology, M.Tech. program on 'Nanotechnology was begun in 2008.
