Re: AIIMS Difficulty Level

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has conducted AIIMS MBBS 2016 entrance exam on May 29, 2016 for admission to 672 seats in MBBS programmes of 7 AIIMs across India.

Exam analysis/ Difficulty level:

Biology was easy, everything was from NCERT. If anyone who had read NCERT line to line in depth would ace it.

AR's of biology were also good. I attempted everything from biology.

GK was also easier

Chemistry it to be moderate. Some questions were tricky. Organic was out of NCERT as expected.

Physics was tough for me. Questions were tricky and lengthy. I am not good at physics just average

AIIMS Syllabus: The exam had questions from subjects taught during the10+2/HSC level

Exam Centres: AIIMS online exam has been conducted in a computer based mode at 171 cities all over India

Method of Cut-Off:

Percentile corresponding to following Percentages, General 50%, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 45%, SC /ST 40%. In case percentile of both shifts is unequal the lower percentile of both shits shall be the cut off

Method of determining merit: Overall merit by merging of percentiles of total scores of both shifts (First & Second shift)

Method of resolving ties: In the following order:

Percentile in Biology
Percentile in Chemistry
Percentile in Physics
Seniority by age
