Here is the 2015 cut off criteria 2015 cut off criteria CUSAT  Here is the eligibility Candidate must be qualified in class XII from Kerala or any other state with a fixed minimum percentage as given in the brochure. As per CUSAT CAT Eligibility Criteria 2016, they should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in English in class X and XII for B.Tech course. Diploma holder candidates are not eligible for B.Tech (Marine Engineering) course. Selection process Candidates shall be selected on the basis of marks achieved by them in the CUSAT 2016. Thereafter, they will be assigned a rank accordingly. A merit list will be formed and counseling will be carried out. Exam Pattern Candidates would be asked a total of 250 questions in the exam. Questions would be of class XI, XII syllabus. Subjects included in the question paper – mathematics, physics and chemistry. Distribution of questions – 125 questions from math, 75 from physics and 25 from chemistry. According to CUSAT CAT 2016 Exam Pattern, type of questions asked in the exam will be of objective type/MCQs. Candidates have to mark one correct option from the given 4 options. Duration of the exam is 3 hours. Marks will be calculated using the formula 3R-1W, where R is the right answer and W is for the wrong answer.
