Shaleen | Re: Kettle River MBA As you have asked about the Kettle River Mountain Biker Association (MBA), I am giving you some information about it, check below for the details The Kettle River Mountain Bikers' Association is a not for profit society that was formed to promote mountain biking in the Grand Forks and Christina Lake areas. The club maintains an extensive network of trails throughout the area. Additionally, it has applied to the provincial government to gain legal status for our trails to ensure they are protected for future use. Memberships are $10 per year. It offers Mountain Biking Trails KRMBA has some group rides and meetings that you can be involved in. It offers following trails: Boris/Wheelchair Location: Christina Lake. Trail Length: Boris- 3.4 km. Wheelchair- 1.2 km. Trail Description: Downhill. Very steep descents with rock slabs, jumps, and stunts. Skill Level: Advanced Bundschu Trail Location: Christina Lake. Trail Length: 5.0 km. Trail Description: Cross country. Runs over rolling hills and through open grasslands. Skill Level: Intermediate. Burnt Basin Trail Location: Christina Lake. Trail Length: 7.3 km. Trail Description: All mountain. A short steep climb at the beginning, occasional traverses, and long fast descents Skill Level: Intermediate/ Advanced. |
