Kiran Chandar | Re: ACMA Exemptions for MBA The Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) is a professional body offering qualification and training in management accountancy and providing ongoing support for the members. ICMAP is the sole provider of cost and management accounting education, training and professional certification in Pakistan. The Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan was established in 1951. ICMAP is a member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). Exemption Policy for Academic Qualifications The Student, Who have passed Bachelor's or Master's Examinations from a HEC recognised university/institutions may apply for exemption. MBA Exemptions Criteria- Exemptions available in different courses upto semester-3 Subject to at least 70% course coverage and aggregate 60% marks in the specified courses. Examination eligibility- Coaching Classes: The students must have attended at least 75% lectures in the class of respective subject, secured 50% marks in each class presentation and 50% marks in at least one class test First class presentation/project and class test will be conducted at 40% course completion and second one will be conducted at 80% course completion. Distance Learning Program: There is no pre-exam condition the students who are enrolled under the Distance Learning Programme (DLP) may apply for examination by paying prescribed examination fee of respective semester/subject. |
