| Shaleen | Re: RRB Ajmer Syllabus ASM The Railway Recruitment Board holds an annually based entrance exam in a written format for recruiting individual in the post of ASM (Assistant Station Master). RRB Ajmer: Assistant Station Master Examination ASM Syllabus The syllabus for the ASM written examination will be generally in a prescribed format • General English: Questions on General English are designed to test the candidate's correct usage of prepositions, words and phrases. • Mathematics: Questions on Mathematics are designed to test accuracy in rapidity in working. These will mostly be questions in Arithmetic. • General Knowledge: Candidates are expected to possess a broad knowledge of current events and matters of general interest, particularly relating to India, including Indian Railways. • General Intelligence: The questions are designed to test the candidate's power of reasoning and his ability to draw conclusions. Pattern of Entrance Paper: The question paper will be composed of four important segments namely General Arithmetic, Analytical and Quantitative Skills, General Awareness and as Language General Hindi/General English. There would be a total of 100 to 120 questions which the aspiring candidates have to attain in duration of about 90 minutes or one and a half hours. There would be a negative marking format supported by deducting one third of the marks for each of the wrong question attempted. The Questions are of Multiple Type’s and are available in different languages such as Urdu, Hindi, and English and in other Local Languages. The Entrance exam is of aptitude test form, which is the minimum eligibility criterion for recruitment. ASM Question Paper      |
