| Kiran Chandar | Re: Vacancy in SSC CHSL SSC CHSL or staff selection commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam conducted for for the selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Division Clerks (LDC) in various govt. departments & ministries. Eligibility You must have passed class XII or intermediate exam or equivalent from a state or central recognized institute. Age Limit Age must be between 18 years and 27 years as on 1 August 2015. Upper Age Relaxation -Relaxation in age will be given for the candidates belonging to reserved category as per the government rules. The following categories will be relaxed with respect to age. SC/ST – 5 years OBC – 3 years PH – 10 years PH + OBC – 13 years PH + SC/ST – 15 years Key dates Application form process begins – 13 June 2015 Closing date of application form process – 06 July 2015 Exam date – 01 November, 15 November, 06 December and 20 December 2015 SSC CHSL Exam Pattern There shall be 4 parts of the single question paper. 50 questions each would be asked from these sections. These parts are – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Weightage of each section is 50 marks. Duration of the exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes. The Paper will consist of objective type (multiple choice questions) only. Questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV. There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong answer. |
