UNIT-III Probability Distributions : Probability, Bayes theorem, Discrete & Continuous probabilitydistributions, Moment generating function, Probability generating function, Properties and applicationsof Binomial, Poisson and normal distributions. UNIT-IV Linear Programming : Linear programming problems formulation, Solution of Linear ProgrammingProblem using Graphical method, Simplex Method, Dual-Simplex Method. Paper Setters Note: 8 questions of 15 marks each distributed in four sections are to be set taking two from each unit.
