| Pathak | Re: Thapar University Engineering entrance Thapar University was established in 1956 by Karam Chand Thapar. The university is approved by UGC. It is located in Patiala, Punjab, India. Thapar University takes admission in B.Tech course on the basis of JEE Main entrance exam. Joint Entrance Exam JEE (Main) is the entrance exam for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other centrally funded Technical Institutions (Except IIT's) and Institutions funded by several participating State Governments. JEE Main 2015 will be conducted online and offline. Offline exam will be held on 4 April 2015 and online exam will held on 10 or 11 April 2015. JEE (Main) Eligibility Criteria- 10+2 or its equivalent examination Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2013 may also apply. Important dates- Online Registration will Started From 7 November 2014 Window for Online Registration will Close on 26 December, 2014 Admit Card of JEE Main 2015 will be issued 1 March, 2015 onwards JEE Main 2015 written exam: Offline- 4 April, 2015 Online- 10 and 11 April, 2015 JEE Main 2015 Official Answers Key will be released till 18 April 2015 JEE Main 2015 Score Card will be published by 27 April 2015 JEE Main 2015 rank list will be published by 7 July 2015 Exam pattern- JEE Main Paper- 1 will be held in online and offline. Paper-2 will be PCM, Drawing and Aptitude Test it will be held in pen and paper mode. Exam duration: Exam will be of 3 hour. Subjects and Syllabus: Syllabus will cover concepts of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Questions: There will be 30 questions in each section, total 90. Candidates will have to solve all. Questions will be of Multiple Choice (Objective) type. Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 4 marks will be allotted. Exam will be of 360 marks in total.
