| sumit | Re: RTU M Tech Fees The admission to various M Tech programmes is conducted by CAM (Centralized Admission for M Tech/M Arch), a coordinating body for M Tech admissions in RTU (Rajasthan Technical University). Every GATE qualified candidate is entitled for MHRD scholarship of Rs 12400 per month. There are twelve M Tech programmes being run by university departments, RTU, Kota. Master of Technology (M Tech) Department Specialization Sanctioned Intake Computer Science and Engineering Computer Science and Engineering 18 Civil Engineering Structural Engineering 18 Geo-Technical Engineering 18 Environmental Engineering 18 Electrical Engineering Power Systems 18 Power Electronics & Electric Drives 18 Electronics and Communication Engineering Digital Communications 18 Control & Instrumentation 18 Nanotechnology (Electro Mechanical) 18 Mechanical Engineering Machine Design 18 Industrial Engineering & Management 18 Renewable Energy Renewable Energy Technology 18 Fee Structure M Tech Fee per Semester Fee per Annum Caution Money Development Fee (SFS Seats) (Govt Aided Seats) Rs 35,000 NA Rs 7,500 Rs 1,000 Eligibility Criteria for Admission Admissions will be based on of valid and eligible GATE Score. However, candidates without GATE score but possessing B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent can also apply. Candidates appearing in qualifying degree examinations and possessing valid GATE score card need to submit the marks sheet of qualifying degree exam at the time of reporting to the allotted institute positively, failing which their candidature shall be cancelled. One must ensure the eligibility for admission in various M.Tech programmes in the affiliated institutions and University Departments of RTU Kota before filling up the application form of CAM. Minimum Qualification Required One must hold B.E./B.Tech. degree in appropriate discipline from RTU or any other recognized University or any other exams recognized as equivalent thereto by competent authority. One must have minimum 55% (6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale and equivalent) marks in the qualifying degree exam (50% or 5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale of relaxation is admissible for SC/ST candidates). One with qualifications obtained through exams conducted by professional societies recognized by MHRD/UGC/AIU/UPSC/AICTE {e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India); IEE} as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Candidates having M.Sc./MCA seeking admission to certain M.Tech programmes should posses valid and qualified GATE score of the relevant branch. The equivalency of any degree for admission to any programme will be decided by University. |
