B.A.M.S. or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery is an undergraduate Ayurvedic course of 5 year duration

Well, the medium of instruction in BAMS is vary from institute to institute so you will have to enquire with individual colleges.

Eligibility

Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and preferably Sanskrit as subjects studied, and clearing the different national and state level entrance exams such as:
All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Exam (AIPMT)

Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) Entrance Exam

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Entrance Exam

Selection to the B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) degree course is based on the total marks aggregated in the final exams of 10+2 and the entrance exam.

BAMS Exam is in English or Sanskrit Medium is varies from university to university.
The medium of instruction (of various subjects in BAMS) and the language for the BAMS degree Exam vary.

While it is Hindi in the case of Delhi
University it is Hindi, Gujrat Ayurveda University is in Gujrati in case of Indian nationals (although foreign students are allowed to pursue BAMS in English).

In institutes like A L N Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College, Karnataka, English is the chosen language.
