The medium of instruction (of various subjects in BAMS) and the language for the BAMS degree Exam vary. While it is Hindi in the case of Delhi University it is Hindi, Gujrat Ayurveda University is in Gujrati in case of Indian nationals (although foreign students are allowed to pursue BAMS in English). In institutes like A L N Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College, Karnataka, English is the chosen language.
