American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Certified in their respective practice areas, and most continue to provide patient care on a regular basis.

Course structure:



Pre-Occupational Therapy

The following courses are required in addition to the biological sciences core: CHE 212 and 405; PHY 101-102, and MAT 132.

To complete the biology major, pre-professional students will select a minimum of 29 hours, including at least 17 upper-level, of BIO/HRP courses (with the exception of BIO 101 and 220).

The following courses are highly recommended: BIO 234-235, 306, 310, 312, 326, 407, 409, 415, 419, 420, 470, HRP 201, and MAT 151. Students will be advised as to other requirement s for a particular professional school.

Eligibility required:



Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university (degree in any field) or be in the senior year of undergraduate study.

A completed bachelors degree is required prior to enrollment, as evidenced by a final official college/university transcript.

You may receive conditional acceptance if your BS degree is in progress. The conditional status is removed once your official transcript is received.
