Sub Inspectors (Men) in Special Protection Force (SPF)
21-25 years

Station Fire Officers in A.P. Fire & Emergency Services
18-30 years

Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Sub Inspectors of Police (Civil)

The candidate must hold a Degree .

Physical Standard

i) For the Si.No. 1 to 7 :

a) Height: Must not be less than 160 cms.
b) Chest: Must not be less than 80 cms round the chest on full
inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 cms.

ii) For the Si.No 8:

a) Weight: Must not be less than 38 kgs
b) Height: Must not be less than 150 cms

Medical Standards :

A) Eye Sight : Visual Standards required for the above selection shall be as follows:

a) Right Eye Left Eye
(i) Distant Vision — 6/6 6/6
(ii) Near Vision — 0/5 0/5

b) Each eye must have a full field of vision.

B) The candidate should possess sound health and be free from any bodily defect or infirmity which will render him unfit for police service.

Detailed information required to become Sub-Inspector is given below.
Qualification for the Sub-Inspector:

1. Applicants should complete the any degree or any graduation or post graduation from recognized university.

2. Minimum 55% aggregate in academics.

3 Applicants should be an Indian citizen.

>>> Age Limit Details:
1. For General Applicants - 21 - 25 years ( No reservation ).
2. For OBC Applicants 21 - 28 years ( 3% reservation ).
3. For SC/ST Applicants 21 - 30 years ( 5% reservation ).

Selection process:
STEP - 1 :
-----> Chest 81cm in normal & 5cm expansion.

-----> Height 168 cm.

STEP - 2 :
5 Kilometers running in 25 minutes .

STEP - 3 :
Events like 100m running in 15 sec ,long jump ,shot put ,high jump & 800m running in 170 seconds.

STEP - 4 :
Written examination consists of 2 papers.

STEP - 5 :
1. Any bone fractures in body.
2. Eye sight checking.
