Reading comprehension,
Logical
Verbal Reasoning

Preparation Tips for Reading Comprehension
Read the passage first.
Don’t read the questions first.
Try and read the passage in about 3 minutes.
When reading the passage, underline key words/phrases
Don’t get stuck reading
Research in the text
Predict your answer
Find the answer choice that matches.

When you read, look for clues in the text that will lead you to understand key concepts from each passage including:
• Main idea
• Explicit details
• Details inferrable from the text
• Contextual clues to the meaning of complex words or phrases
• Passage structure
• Author’s viewpoint
• Contrasting viewpoints

Here is some useful tips for LSAT Reading Comprehension:

Refer to the passage as often as necessary.
Read the passage carefully and take your time.
Analyze about the passage before you start the questions.
Read several lines of question so you understand the context.
Focus on the big stuff and gloss over the details
Mark important points in the passage.
When you finish a passage, forget it and clear your brain for the next one.
Read all answers and eliminate the wrong ones.
Concentrate, even if you're bored.
Try to answer questions yourself before reading the answer choices.
Work one reading passage at a time; answer all the questions, and then move on.
