Arun Vats | Re: AIPMT Exam Preparation Tips Some tips to prepare for my AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test) exam are as follows: Calculated planning is the key to plan successfully for the AIPMT, keeping time for the revision and self help can work wonders. Practicing a number of test papers can reduce the amount of mistakes that one can commit in understanding the concepts and solve the related problems. Recognize the strong areas and focusing on the weak portions is the key to achieve best scores in any entrance exam. One need to focus on the strong areas only and have a thorough practice done from every corner of the subjects they master in and leaving no stone unturned. Prepare and go thoroughly through the short notes and the concepts from the notes prepared while studying which will be helpful while last moment preparation. As most of the questions in the AIPMT are asked form the NCERT Biology text books it is very easy to prepare but by keeping on revising them can also fetch you great scores. Stick to limited books and keep doing the revision is always suggested than running after a lot of books and preparing partially form every book. Some Good Books for AIPMT 1. Physics: Concepts of Physics by H.C.Verma NCERT Physics: CBSE PMT set of 3 Volumes by Anil Aggarwal Concept of Competition Physics for CBSE PMT by Aggarwals NCERT- Physics Part 1 and Part 2 2. Chemistry: Physical Chemistry by O.P. Tandon Dinesh Chemistry Peter Atkins and Julio de Paula for Physical Chemistry Morrision Boyd for Organic Chemistry ABC chemistry 3. Biology: Objective biology by Dinesh SC Verma (Part-1 and 2) NCERT- Biology Part 1 and Part 2 GRB Bathla's Publication's for Biology (For theory and objective) Pradeep Publication's Biology Trueman's Biology (Theory) |
