There are no jobs after 10th standard. After completing 12th you can apply for the Deck Cadet job. Some of the best institutions for merchant navy are:- 1. T.S.Chanakya, Navi Mumbai. 2. K.M.School of Marine Engineering(C.U.S.A.T) ,Kochi Eligibility criteria Unmarried male and female Students are ONLY eligible . You should have a minimum of 55% in graduation. Candidates passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are eligible for Merchant Navy course. Age requirement is not more than 20 years. SC/ST Students 25 years is maximum age , these categories are given relaxation of five years. Direct Entry 1. 10+2 candidates with PCM are eligible for Deck Cadets job. 2. B.tech candidates in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Technology can also apply for direct jobs. Salary The salary varies from Rs 12,000 per month to 8 Lakh per month.
