Hey, as you said that you have completed 10th with 62% so listen you are now not eligible for that you need to complete at least 12th standard to apply for job in Merchant Navy.

There are no jobs after 10th standard. After completing 12th you can apply for the Deck Cadet job.

Some of the best institutions for merchant navy are:-
1. T.S.Chanakya, Navi Mumbai.
2. Indian Institute Of Maritime Studies(IIMS), Mumbai.
3. Indian Institute Of Maritime Studies Kolkata.
4. Marine Engineering And Research Insitute, kolkata.
5. K.M.School of Marine Engineering(C.U.S.A.T) ,Kochi

Eligibility criteria
Unmarried male and female Students are ONLY eligible .
You should have a minimum of 55% in graduation.
Candidates passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are eligible for Merchant Navy course.
Age requirement is not more than 20 years.
SC/ST Students 25 years is maximum age , these categories are given relaxation of five years.

Direct Entry

1. 10+2 candidates with PCM are eligible for Deck Cadets job.

2. B.tech candidates in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Technology can also apply for direct jobs.

Salary
The salary varies from Rs 12,000 per month to 8 Lakh per month. The officer level jobs are the high paying jobs. You can target these jobs by pursuing B.Tech or B.Sc. The additional perks also depend on jobs.

I have completing 10th with 62% now I want to join Merchant Navy. So will you please tell me can I join Merchant Navy after passing 10th with 60%?
