Re: Diffrence between Regular & Correspondence M.Tech

As per your request, I am going to distinguish between regular M.Tech and Correspondence M.Tech here.

Regular M.Tech;

It is full time course in which you will offer the class room studies. In this type of the course, applicant needs to attend regular classes for M.Tech course. Regular M.Tech is more value than Correspondence M.Tech. Some companies also prefer regular M.Tech rather than Correspondence M.Tech. Regular M.Tech will offer you practical experience. To get into the regular M.Tech course, applicant needs to qualify and entrance exam like GATE etc.

Following are the universities in India that offering the regular M.Tech.

Andhra University
Anna University
Bengal Engineering and Science University
BITS Pilani
CDAC Trivandrum
Cochin University of Science and Technology
College of Engineering Trivandrum
Defense Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT)
Delhi Technological University
Govt. College of Engineering Pune (COEP)
ISM Dhanbad
IIT Delhi
IIT Bombay
IIT Kanpur

Correspondence M.Tech:

This course is for working professional and for those who don’t have time for the regular M.Tech course. Students can do correspondence M.Tech course with their work. The course save the time of students, some institute does take direct admission for this type of course.

Following are the universities in India that offering the Correspondence M.Tech.

Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University
University of Burdwan, Burdwan, West Bengal
Indira Gandhi National Open University
Lovely Professional University
