Most of the engineering colleges provide lateral entry to diploma holders in 2nd year of B.tech. Admission procedure may vary college to college.

Diploma holders can enter the in the main stream of Engineering by taking admission directly in IInd year of B.Tech Program. Lateral Entry process is approved by RPET for admission in various branches of engineering.

Here I am giving you admission procedure of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota colleges for admission in B.Tech through Lateral Entry. This procedure is followed by government and private colleges of RTU.

Eligibility criteria:

Diploma from an AICTE approved institution with a minimum of 45 % marks

Fee Structure:

Interim Fee Rs. 70,000/- + Caution Money Rs. 7,500/-

Admission procedure:

Admission is based on Counseling

I want to take admission in government engineering college of RTU through lateral entry in B.Tech course so please tell me the procedures for same?
