CLAT stands for Common Law Admissions Test. It is an all India entrance examination conducted by the National Law Schools/Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). The responsibility of conducting the exam is rotated and given on the basis of seniority in establishment.


Important Date:

i) Issue of Applications - 01.01.2020

ii) Last date for submission of applications - 31.03.2020

iii) Date of CLAT 2020 Test - 10.05.2020

iv) Uploading of answer keys on Consortium of NLUs website - 11.05.2020

v) Inviting objections - 12.05.2020 to 15.05.2020

vi) Notification of final answer key - 18.05.2020

vii) Declaration of the final results - 24.05.2020


Test Pattern

The number of questions will also be reduced from 200 to 150.
Quantitative analysis will be based on 10th standard mathematics content.
The mode of exam will continue to be Paper & Pencil based with a total duration of two hours.
The exam will be conducted on 10th of May 2020.
The paper will have questions on "Current Affairs including General Knowledge.
Selection Criteria: CLAT Score only

UG Question Paper Format
a. Maximum Marks 150
b. Duration of CLAT 2020 Exam 02:00 Hours
c. Multiple-Choice Questions 150 questions of one mark each
d. Negative Marking 0.25 Mark for each wrong answer
Subject Areas with weightage: (approximate number of questions)
English Language 28-32 questions, or roughly 20% of the paper
Current Affairs, including General Knowledge 35-39 questions, or roughly 25% of the paper
Legal Reasoning 35-39 questions, or roughly 25% of the paper
Logical Reasoning 28-32 questions, or roughly 20% of the paper
Quantitative Techniques 13-17 questions, or roughly 10% of the paper

Where I can get everything about the CLAT Examination? I want to appear in the CLAT Exam for admission in Best Law College. So I want details about its paper pattern and important dates for this year examination. Give me information about the minimum eligibility criteria to appear in this Exam. Give me official notification of CLAT Exam.
