Presently the JNVs are spread in 28 States and 07 Union The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) declared the official notification of JNVST (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test) Admissions of candidates into 6th class for 2019-20 academic years in Navodaya Schools situated in different states of All over India. Important Dates 2019 The Last Date to submit Online Application 30th November 2018 extended till December 15, 2018 JNV Selection Test will be held on Saturday, the 06th April 2019 at 11:15 A.M Admit card will be made available with effect from 01st March 2019 Result of JNV Selection Test 2019 is expected to be announced By the Last week of May 2019 Composition of the Test The selection test will be of two-hour duration and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks. 15 Minutes additional time is allowed for reading the instructions. 1. Mental Ability Test - 40 No. of Questions; 50 Marks (Duration: 60 minutes) 2. Arithmetic Test - 20 No. of Questions; 25 Marks (Duration: 30 minutes) 3. Language Test - 20 No. of Questions; 25 Marks (Duration: 30 minutes) Total - 80 No. of Questions; 100 Marks (Duration: 2 Hours) A single test booklet comprising of all the three sections will be given to each candidate. Additional time of 30 minutes will be allowed for “Divyang students” (differently-abled students) Language of the Exam The exam will be conducted in 21 languages including Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, English, Garo, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Khasi, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Mizo, Oriya, Punjabi, Sindhi (Arabic), Sindhi (Devnagri), Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Nepali |

On Saturday, 11th June, 2016 at 11.30 A.M. in the Districts of Leh, Kargil & Doda of J&K State and in the District of Chamba, Kinnaur, Shimla and Lahaul & Spiti of Himachal Pradesh State. JNVST 2016 Reservation of Seats a) At least 75% of the places in a district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and remaining seats are filled from urban areas of the district. b) Reservation of seats in support of children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is provided in proportion to their population in the concerned district provided that no district, such stipulation will be less than the national average ( 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST ) but subject to utmost of 50% for both the categories ( SC & ST ) taken together. These reservations are exchangeable and over and above the candidates selected under open merit. c) One third of the entirety seats are filled up by girls. d) There is a stipulation for reservation of 3% seats for ** disabled children ( i.e. Orthopedically Handicapped, Hearing Impaired and Visually Handicapped ). |
