Neelu Bhasin | Re: REET Exam - Eligibility Criteria Syllabus Pattern Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSC) organise the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) in the state of Rajasthan. One who wish to teach in Classes 1-8 are required to appear for Paper I or/ and Paper II of the REET followed by an Interview to qualify as Primary and Upper Primary Level Teachers. REET Exam Eligibility Criteria For Teachers up to class 1-5 (first stage) One should have passed Higher Secondary (or equivalent) and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education with minimum 50% marks or in final year. Or One who passed higher education (or equivalent) with 45% marks, and passed NCTE-accredited 2 year Diploma in Elementary Pedagogy or studying in final year. Or One should have passed Higher Education (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks, with 4 years Diploma in Elementary Education (BLEd) or in final year. Or One should have passed Higher Education (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks, with which one must have passed the 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or in the final year. Or One should have passed Biennial Diploma in Graduate and Elementary Education or in final year. For Class 6-8 (Second Stage) Teachers One should have passed Biennial Diploma in Graduate and Elementary Education or in final year. Or One must have passed 1year Bachelor (B.Ed) in Graduation and Education with minimum 50% percentage marks or in the final year of 2 year B.Ed course. Or One who has graduated with 45% percentage marks and has done or doing B.Ed recognized from NCTE. Or One must have passed Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and 4 years Graduate Ed or B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed passed or in final year.
