The RTO (Regional Transport Office) is an Indian Government bureau responsible for the registration of vehicles and for issuing drivers licenses all over India. This is an executive kind of government job and recruitment, exam and supervision are overseen by the State Public Service Commission.


There are three types of posts in a RTO office. The kinds of jobs one can have as a RTO officer include:
Clerk Post
Assistant Engineer Post
Judicial Post


Eligibility

Clerk Post

Nationality:
One must be Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification:
One should be passed the 10th class or equivalent class

Age limit:
Age must be between the 18 to 28 years


Assistant Engineer Post

Nationality:

One must be Indian citizen

Educational Qualification:
One should be passed bachelor degree in engineering with at least 55% marks from any recognized university.

Age limit:
Age must be between the 21 to 30 years,
3 Years of relaxation for OBC candidates
5 Years of relaxation for SC / ST candidates


Judicial Post

Nationality:

One must be Indian citizen

Educational Qualification:
One should be passed the bachelor degree in LAW with at least 55% marks from any recognized university.

Age limit:

Age must be between the 21 to 30 years.



Selection Process:

1. Written test
2. Interview

RTO stand for Regional Transport Office exam which is conducted by public service commission . As you want information about required qualification so its basic requirement is diploma in Automobile / Mechanical engineering or equivalent but there are many post also available in Regional Transport Office (RTO) in which you are interested, it’s depend on you.

RTO exam clerk post eligibility
You should be the citizen of India.
You should have the age limit within 18 to 37 years.
You should complete graduate from a recognized institute.

RTO exam judicial post eligibility
You should be the citizen of India
You should have the age limit within 23-35 years.
You should complete graduate in law from a recognized university

RTO exam sub assistant eligibility
You should be the citizen of India
You should have the age more than 34 years
You should complete graduate from a recognized university
In particular fields such as mechanical and civil
