Students who have completed their 12 years of school education successfully from any recognized Indian board or university can take SAT for admission in the different streams available at various American colleges. According to the SAT eligibility, there is no maximum or minimum age limit set by the conducting authority. In the US, typically candidates take the exam in their junior or senior years of high school (Indian Grades 11th or 12th), to be precise, aspirants are roughly between 17 or 18 years of age when they take SAT test which is administered by ETS on behalf of the College Board. There is no criteria of minimum marks etc. for appearing in the SAT Reasoning Test or SAT Subject Tests, but several colleges need a good SAT score along with a good academic record. Eligibility: Students in standards 11th or 12th are advised to take the SAT tests as they are for college admissions in USA A valid Indian passport is a must for candidates appearing for the test SAT Fees: The basic fee for the exam is $52, but it varies based on the country of the applicant. For Indian applicants, the fee for SAT comes out to be ~$106 (with written essay), or ~$94 (without essay). In Indian Rupees, the SAT exam fee is around 6200-7000 INR.
