National Institute of Technology, Rourkela was established back in the year of 1961 and it was formerly Regional Engineering College Rourkela (REC Rourkela), is a publicly funded institute of higher learning for engineering and technology located in the steel city of Rourkela, Odisha, India.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed class 12 and must have the valid score card of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE(Main). The counseling for this is done by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
