Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) 2020 has been replaced by NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate) examination. Candidates willing to take admission in the UG program offered by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry, can appear in NEET exam.

Notification of NEET August 21, 2019

Application form date December 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM

Last date for NEET 2020 registration January 6, 2020

Last date to pay application fee January 7, 2020

NEET application correction dates January 15 to 31, 2020

Eligibility Criteria


One should be an Indian national. However, overseas citizens can also apply for it

One must be of 17 years at the time of admission.

One should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology.

One should have passed both theory and practical examination in these subjects.

One should have obtained 50% marks in PCB taken together and should have passed these subjects individually.

For the reserved category candidates, one should have obtained 40% in the qualifying exam in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology.


NEET 2020 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode:
NEET 2020 exam will be conducted through offline (pen-paper based) mode.

Questions Type:
Question paper will contain objective type of questions.

Medium:
The question paper will be available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Kannada Languages.

No of questions:
There will be total 180 questions in the paper.

Total Marks:
The paper will be total of 720 marks.

Duration:
NEET exam duration is 3 hours.

Marking Scheme:
Each correct answer will award 4 marks.

Negative Marking:
1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Is there ant latest notification of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam is release, if it is then tell me the date of sale of application form and the last date to submit it?
