Re: NET Exam upper age

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is being conducted by UGC (University Grants Commission). It is conducted for the award of junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and also for eligibility into Lectureship.

Interested candidate should have to score a min of 55% of marks in their post graduation course.

Age criteria:
There is no upper age limit at all required for the candidate for Lectureship.
But for JRF, one should be in the age group of 19-28 years.
Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of OBC and also for SC/ST category candidates.
