Re: NET exam date of availability of forms

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is being conducted by the University Grants Commission. Here are the details of NET examination:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree from universities recognized by UGC. Other Backward Classes belonging to non-creamy layer / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Persons with disability category candidates who have secured minimum 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

EXAMINATION FEE
General Candidates Rs.450/-
Other Backward Classes Rs.225/-
SC/ST/PWD candidates Rs.110/-

Important dates:
Last date for applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee 05.05.2014
Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). 07.05.2014
Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card from UGC website 10.05.2014
Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating Institution opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) )
