The National Eligibility Test, also known as UGC NET or CBSE NET, is a test to determine eligibility for college and university level lecturership and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship for Indian nationals.

UGC NET or CBSE NET, is a test to determine eligibility for college and university level lecturership and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals. It aims to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in teaching professions and research.


UGC-NET has two parts-
>> Lectureship
>> JRF

Educational Qualifications for the UGC-NET exams is: Post Graduation pass
Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation for the General and OBC candidates
Minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates

Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) - Maximum age to apply is 28 years
SC/ST/Women/OBC candidates gets 5 years age

Lectureship- No Maximum age limit set


you May Apply for the Management Paper in the UGC NET Exam the Paper Pattern of the UGC NET Exam is given bleow

Session Paper Marks Number of Question Duration
First I 100 50 questions all are compulsory 1 Hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am)
First II 200 100 questions all are compulsory 2 Hours (11:00 am to 1:00 pm)
