NEET Exam Portion

I am planning to build my career in medical line and for this I have decided to give the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Will you please provide me Eligibility for Exam and tell what the pattern or portion comes in this exam also provide list of books for doing exam prep?

NEET stands for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the medical entrance exam conducted at the national level for those who wish to enroll in different Under Graduate medical courses including –MBBS and BDS respectively.

Eligibility for Exam:

The applicants should be Class XII passed with a minimum of 50% marks obtained in the following subjects- Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology/ Biology and English respectively.

In addition to this, the qualifying age of all the applicants is minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years counted from 31st December.

Exam Pattern or Portion:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test shall consist of objective type questions to be solved in the paper-pencil modes for the following three main sections-

Section I- Physics
Section II- Chemistry
Section III- Biology (Botany/ Zoology)

Total Number of Questions: 180

Total Marks Allotted: 720

Time of Exam: 10:00 am to 01:00 pm

Marking Criteria:

The applicants will be given 4 marks for every correct answer marked by the students while there will be deduction of 1 mark for every wrong answers marked by the applicants respectively.
